Dog Hotel - Family Stay
What we have to offer:
- A vacation for your dog! That is our main objective.
- Experienced people working with dogs.
- Dog trainer present (course taken and certified by Faculdade Lusófona de Lisboa in 2015).
- 24-hour care.
- 2000m2 of land to release energy.
- Various activities during the stay (walks, swimming pool, smell, training, pampering, games).
- Individual rooms just for spending the night, to have your time/space daily.
- Bathroom and brushing service at the end of the stay, if the client wishes (and depending on availability).
- Basic Obedience and Tricks Training service during the stay, if the client wishes (and depending on availability).
- Daily contact with the owners, including photos and videos.
The Little Rooms
- Click & Chill - Dog Hotel has 8 little rooms prepared to welcome your best friend(s) in an annex less than 10m from our room.
- Dogs don't stay locked up all day - That is not the objective of our hotel. We want the dogs to have a vacation when they come here, and that includes lots of entertainment and rest at the end of the day. The day is always spent with us, on our land, with activities and enjoying the day.
- The little rooms are just for the dogs to eat (so they don't have other dogs/people/cats on top of them) and sleep at night (so they can rest ).All dogs go through a habituation to the room on the first day(s) (which includes spending time in there with us, using interactive toys like Kongs) so that they don't see that space as a strange room but just as another room in the house, like your own living room or the bedroom that they are used to.
- The small rooms have comfortable beds, rugs, cool floors, fresh water and interactive toys (and/or toys that dogs bring from their own house) - just like a room in our house! Comfortable and with everything they need to spend the night.
- These spaces were designed, organized and made with lots of love and care, approved by a veterinarian in the field of behavior and well-being, so that dogs love them and experience as little stress as possible during the stay away from the family.
- All rooms have surveillance cameras so that we can frequently check that everyone is well and calm.
- Puppies (dogs up to 10/12 months of age) do not sleep in the rooms, they sleep in our house also in their own space (crate and/or park). Puppies with a lot of space and no supervision end up learning undesirable behaviors (barking, peeing/pooping in their space, not being able to relax, etc.) and so they stay at home with us to learn to be alone first, and only when they are used to it they'll start sleeping in the little rooms.
Our facilities
Our space was thought out in detail, taking 1 year to be prepared and legalized to be able to safely welcome your best friends. Click and Chill is a Canine Hotel licensed by DGAV (License nº PT 3 460FL) and Cadaval City Council (Alvará nº 30/2020) and includes everything necessary and mandatory by law.
